MAAHMG displayed uniquely designed mannequin trees created by artist Alicia Smiley. The handcrafted Christmas trees featured custom designs by Smiley reflecting Black history, art and culture. The six trees were on display in an exhibition in November 2020, but ended early due to COVID-19 shutdown. Video available to view on museum’s YouTube channel, MAAHMG.
