On November 28th, from 6:00pm-7:30pm, at the Minnesota African American Heritage Museum and Gallery, artist Shea Maze will share his family story, the process and experience of creating the art in his exhibition “Grandma’s Garden.” It’s sure to be an engaging conversation about his breathtaking art created from gourds.
The artist talk is free and open to the public.
Shea is an Artist In Residence at the Minnesota African American Heritage Museum and Gallery (MAAHMG). The residency program is funded by a grant from the McKnight Foundation.
