Visionary Voices Show.
The Visionary Voices is a Youth Group run by the Minnesota African American Heritage Museum and Gallery. Students, aged 14-18, have spent the past two months preparing spoken word poetry pieces to perform in front of an audience on November 5th at the MAAHMG. Each student will be performing two original poems as well as a group poem. Throughout the 10 week program the Visionary Voices participants learned about creative writing, spoken word, communication, processing thoughts to express, and public speaking. Come support the Visionary Voices on Saturday from 1-3pm to see all the work the students have put into their poems.
