Holiday Coloring Contest Details
As part of MAAHMG’s “A Soulful Holiday” exhibit, the museum is hosting an online Holiday Tree Coloring Contest. To enter, create a tree design of any kind. The contest will run from December 1 – 15, 2021 and the winners of the contest will be announced December 18 at the museum during a hot cocoa and cookies event.
We want you to be creative with how you create your tree so we are allowing all art forms: draw your tree, paint your tree, do a collage of a tree, create a tree out of chalk, digitally draw your tree, etc.
There will be four different age-group tiers for the competition with a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prize awarded in each age group. There will be one grand prize winner who could be from any age group. Only one grand prize will be awarded.
Age-Group Tiers:
Tier one: 5-7 year old
Tier two: 8-11 year old
Tier three: 12-14 year old
Tier four: 15-18 year old
To submit your application online, please go to our Tree Coloring Contest Google Form. We want to be able to share your child’s creation with our supporters on social media, so our form has a required consent section. You will be given the option to choose what personal information we will be able to share. You will be required to include your email address on the google form so we are able to contact you if you win.
On December 18th we will hold a reception for the Tree Coloring Contest from 10am – 1pm at the Museum. Winners of the contest will be announced live on Facebook during the reception at noon.
One submission per person is allowed. If you wish to share your tree on your own Instagram or Facebook, please tag our account in your post and use the hashtag #maahmgcoloringcontest
